Description

The Brazilian Journal of African Studies is a biannual publication, in digital and printed format, dedicated to research, reflection and the dissemination of studies on African themes. RBEA publishes unpublished scientific articles with an emphasis on analysis of International Relations, Integration, Security and Defense Organizations, Political Systems, History, Geography, Economic Development, Social Structures and Currents of Thought. RBEA is a strictly academic vehicle, linked to the Brazilian Center for African Studies (CEBRAFRICA) at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). The target audience of RBEA is researchers, teachers and students interested in the specificities of the African continent and its international insertion. Combined with this perspective, the Magazine intends to expand the debate about the Brazilian projection and its cooperation efforts (including in Defense) with African countries in the South Atlantic perimeter and the construction of a regional identity in the face of a scenario of geopolitical transformations.
