The main objective of the Electoralema Specialized Journal of the Electoral Institute of the State of Guanajuato is to promote and strengthen civic education, political-democratic culture, and citizen participation both in Mexico and in the countries of the Ibero-American region through a space that allows for the exchange of accurate information, critical knowledge, and relevant experiences between the IEEG and state, national, and international institutions. The journal publishes high-quality research on electoral matters in any of its epistemic areas of specialization; it also seeks to stimulate the quality of democratic practice through scientific research.
