Historical Views, published by the Center for Research of Modern and Contemporary History Tuzla was launched with the aim of providing additional impetus to the development of historical science in Bosnia and Herzegovina, especially in the study and research of issues related to modern and contemporary history. publishing research results in the field of historiography, both to affirmed historians and young researchers, postgraduate and doctoral students, history professors, but also other experts in related sciences who can offer papers in accordance with scientific and professional standards of the journal. Historical views are based on the awareness that historical science should be given a more favorable status in the scientific life of Bosnia and Herzegovina and in Bosnian society in general, including the need to affirm historical insights as an important prerequisite for humanizing social relations in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the former Yugoslav state. The main criterion for publishing papers in Historical Perspectives is their scientific and professional foundation and quality. The editorial board will be happy to publish articles from various historical fields, from political, cultural, economic, military to intellectual history, from local topics to issues of national, regional and wider significance. The structure of the journal includes articles, reviews, reports and activities of the Center for Research of Modern and Contemporary History Tuzla. The journal Historical Views is published twice a year. All research articles submitted to the Editorial Board go through a rigorous scientific review process based on an initial review by the Editorial Board and two anonymous external reviews. Papers are published in Bosnian, Croatian and Serbian (Latin) and English.
