The journal "Žizn’ zemli" [The Life of the Earth] publishes materials on the interaction of Geosphere, natural science museology, museum education and the history of science. Contents is subject to the general idea - to combine under one cover to achieve fundamental research in the field of natural and partly humanities sciences and translate these findings into specific educational and outreach programs, developed with the participation of specialists of university museums. Relevant topics of the magazine are the problems of modernization of museum exhibition on the basis of the fundamental results, as well as informing the public of the museum on the main developments in museum life.
