Description
The Journal of Accreditation and Quality Assurance in Higher Education is a peer-reviewed academic journal focusing on accreditation, quality assurance and institutional evaluation processes in higher education. The journal is published twice a year (in June and December) and the language of publication is English. The journal’s primary aim is to contribute original scientific studies and review articles to the literature that address the development of quality assurance mechanisms, the improvement of accreditation processes, and the enhancement of institutional performance within higher education systems. In this context, the journal welcomes a variety of academic contributions, including original scientific research, theoretical studies, review articles, case studies and policy analyses. All articles submitted to the journal are subject to a double-blind peer review process and are rigorously evaluated in accordance with scientific ethical principles. In accordance with the plagiarism policy, the maximum similarity rate accepted for submitted works is set at 20% (The “References” section should not be included in the plagiarism report). The Journal of Accreditation and Quality Assurance in Higher Education does not charge authors any fees at any stage of the article submission, evaluation, or publication processes. In this regard, the journal supports the dissemination of academic knowledge in accordance with the principles of open and equitable access.
