Journal of the Selva Andina Research Society is an international journal of biannual edition, founded on September 25, 2008 thanks to the vision and dedicated effort of the Department of Teaching and Research in Biochemistry & Microbiology (DEI & BM) and the Board of Directors of the Higher Council for Research in Science and Biotechnology of the Andean Forest Research Society with the aim of promoting and disseminating unpublished research in the areas of Entomology, Basic Microbiology, Parasitology, Biochemistry, Physiology, Nutrition, Environmental Microbiology, Biotechnology, Phytochemistry, Public Health.
